The OZ Saferoom is a patented, proven product invented by Andrew J. Zagorski, who was commissioned by the U.S. government through FEMA to develop an above-ground, seamless monolithic structure capable of withstanding a direct impact from an F5 tornado.

After two OZ Saferooms survived in the direct path with an F5 tornado in Moore, Oklahoma, the product became a FEMA mitigation success. It remains the only seamless structure known to have taken a direct hit, sustain no damage and most importantly save lives.

OZ’s management team brings more than 100 years of combined construction and business experience. The company has sold over 1,800 Saferooms, with prefabricated units produced at its Del City factory and delivered to six states. Not all OZ Saferooms are delivered, most Saferooms are formed and poured in place at customers’ homes or businesses.
